About Me

Hello, and welcome!

I am Jaclyn, a second-year Ph.D. student in Speech and Hearing Sciences. My research focuses on pediatric voice disorders, with a particular emphasis on the emotional and behavioral experiences of children with vocal fold nodules. I am also interested in understanding how families support children with voice disorders in everyday life and how family-centered perspectives can inform clinical care and intervention.

In addition to my work in Speech and Hearing Sciences, my prior research experience has fostered my interest in Health Professions Education, particularly in how students and practitioners in the health professions learn, collaborate, and develop across educational and clinical contexts.

This website brings together my research interests, publications, conference presentations, skills, and accomplishments, along with reflections on my journey as an emerging researcher. Please feel free to reach out. I welcome opportunities for collaboration and would be happy to connect with others who share related research or professional interests.
